Do your friends have a Hartz?

This article from May 5, 1986 in New York Magazine sheds some light into the scandalous company Hartz become from the late 1970’s until it’s sale JW Childs in 2000 and eventually to Sumitomo Corporation in 2004. A long way from the vision Max Stern had for his legacy in the 1920’s.

A business ethic like this doesn’t care about your pets or who owns their company after they sell it. A company like this literally has and will betray the public, distributors, retailers, the government and even their own family for a profit.
