Oh mai goodness! Oliver D Cat's mom, Miss Aundria, and one of mai peeps is not only going to DC for a protest at da EPA about da continued sale of dese toxic over-the-counter flea and tick products, but we has sum MAJOR news!!!
Firstly, we has had to move up da protest. Here da info. If yous lives in da DC area, please attend if yous cans to show your support. It wills not be rowdy, but a silent protest. Da day is very significant as it is da day dat Miss Aundria had to give Oliver his wings one year ago from his reaction to Sergeant's Flea Powder for Cats.
Secondly, Miss Aundria has worked magic! She has been trying to gets a meeting wid da EPA Administrator, Lisa Jackson. Dis what wes got insteads!
As a follow-up to our call this afternoon, we have scheduled a meeting for you and Tamar Arslanian with EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs for Tuesday, August 10, at 3:00 pm. Please let me know if you plan to include a representative from Senator Klobuchar's office. Participants from our program will include: Marty Monell, Deputy Director, Office of Pesticide Programs Lois Rossi, Director, Registration Division, Office of Pesticide Programs Kimberly Nesci, Special Assistant, Registration Division, Office of Pesticide Programs Dr. Kit Farwell, Veterinarian and Toxicologist, Health Effects Division, Office of Pesticide Programs The meeting will be held at our offices at the following address in Crystal City, Virginia: 2777 Crystal Drive - Room S-12100 One Potomac Yard South Arlington, VA 22202Da Silent Protest info wid da NEW TIME is: Tuesday, August 10th 2:00pm-2:30pm at the EPA, Ariel Rios Building 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.
